Our philosophy

The spirit that ispires every crn voyage

we take owners on an exclusive journey of creation tailored especially for their lifestyle.
It's why our teams continually immerse themselves in the future.

And it's why, when clients ask us to give them unique, unforgettable experiences on the water and bring their creative vision to life, we have always replied: we can make it happen.

Ideas

Ideas you can touch.

Any dream, idea or wish must be given substance before it can take shape and become an experience. More than technical skills and expertise, what makes each project a CRN yacht is the culture of perfection and insistent attention to detail embraced by the CRN team and workers.
This is the beating heart of our idea of uniqueness, a marriage of total technical mastery with a passion for craftsmanship, forged and modelled around your concept of cruising. That's why, as she gradually comes to life, a CRN yacht becomes the embodiment and exclusive fusion of your ideas and vision.

Vision

Listening to the shape of our vision.

For us, every word you utter, every gesture you make, every feeling or desire you express - even your doubts or concerns - are the start of a journey where our talent for listening is the anchor for the whole creative project. This is the moment when it all begins to take shape; if you can dream it, we can make it. For listening is about sensibility, careful attention and interpreting your desires. It's the first step towards a unique experience that will have you cruising the seas with your own superyacht.

Future

Where the future begin.

Each new yacht has always been a challenge to raise the bar, to dream up new solutions that push the limits imposed by the materials and the available space. We are pioneers of a whole host of functional and aesthetic innovations: CRN has always devised unique designs vaunting state-of-the-art amenities that over time have become true trendsetters in the yachting world.

Designed and made in Italy

A heart full of Italy,
eyes full of beauty.

Ancona, 1963. CRN – initially the acronym of Costruzioni e Riparazioni Navali – was founded in this coastal town that has been a strategic maritime hub on the Mediterranean for 2,400 years. Ancona, from the Greek Ἀγκών (Ankòn), means "elbow", after the unusually shaped promontory where it grew, sheltered in this natural haven. A crossroads of cultures and peoples, mariners and travellers, Ancona is quite unique. Here, land embraces sea, nature meets industry, history entwines with technology, and Italian style strikes out for new destinations. When your story originates in a cradle of naval tradition like this, in a country where a love of beauty, an artisanal finesse and an innate sense of elegance fill the air each day, every project becomes the start of a wonderful journey that will lead you wherever you desire.

The shipyard.

Spanning almost 80,000 sqm, around 33,000 of which indoors, the historical CRN shipyard based in Ancona became the Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard, the construction hub where pleasure vessels of up to 90 metres in length are built.

This multi-brand shipbuilder designs and builds all CRN super and megayachts and the Custom Line range in composite materials, plus Persing's new aluminium models and Riva Superyacht Division yachts in steel and aluminium, as well as hosting production of the new Custom Line Navetta 50.

The stretch of water that opens out in front is a unique space and a precious resource – a gateway to the Adriatic and a private tourist marina to full effect. Extending 250 metres along the coast, it provides large berths for fitting out and finishing up to 15 superyachts at once, and for tests and inspections through to the delivery of each vessel.

The shipyard vaunts a 670-ton travel lift, which is used to launch metal and composite boats and pleasure vessels of up to 50 metres, as well as to haul out yachts for testing. The facilities include nine modern high-tech sheds, all fully heated, air-conditioned and comprehensively equipped. They feature state-of-the-art air-extraction, compressed-air and centralised technical-gas systems, heating and power-generation systems, and two overhead cranes for handling and installing materials on board. The sheds can accommodate up to 24 superyachts under construction at the same time.
